Thank you for visiting my website. I’m an award-winning fine art landscape photographer, currently based in Nottingham in the UK.

I first became interested in photography when I was at school. We spent a lot of time in the Yorkshire Dales training for Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions and I was frustrated that the little 110 point and shoot camera that I had at the time just didn’t do justice to the amazing landscapes that I’d experienced. My parents bought me my first SLR camera for my 18th birthday and so my photographic journey began.

I love being outdoors, and for me, landscape photography is an almost spiritual thing of ‘just being’ and watching those magical moments of light unfurl. It’s the beauty of a backlit grass or the way the light falls on a rock; those ethereal moments that make your heart beat a little faster and bring a sense of wonder, and the challenge of then capturing those emotions in an image to share with others.

You will find a collection of some of my favourite landscape images on this site. I really hope that you enjoy my work and my expression of these scenes as much as I have enjoyed taking them.
